The first question in Paper 2 - the non-fiction paper - is worth 4 marks and around 5 minutes of your time.
Select 4 true statements from the list of 8. The question tests your reading, so make sure that you read carefully and select carefully also. Every single mark counts, so never rush.
The question will give you the lines to read, so take one at a time and read them all by double-checking the text as you go.
This is the only question marked by a computer, not an examiner, so make sure you know how to answer it correctly: shade the circles in the boxes for true statements. If you change your mind, put a cross through the square. If you change your mind back again, put a circle around it..
If you happen to choose more than 4 statements your top 4 will be automatically selected as your responses, so be mindful of this.
And that's it! 4 marks, 5 minutes, 4 true statements. Sounds easy enough, but never take anything for granted and give it the respect it deserves...
